We did enjoy our stay at your hotel the staffs are very welcoming. we enjoyed food and drinks.
the only problem we had was the morning after we arrived as my wife wanted to take shower there was no shower gel the bottle was empty so we had to call at the reception to bring us one. apart from that we had a very good time there. its near metro station which is very good. i do recommend it and looking forward to come back.
The modern room was refreshing and having a balcony added space for leisure. Check in and check out was easy with the friendly staff. It was only a 5 minute walk from the metro and there were plenty of local cafes nearby to enjoy coffee, pasta and pastries. The breakfast offered a huge variety of food from eggs, fresh bread, fruits, deli meats, juices and coffee. The bar had a huge selection of drinks and the welcome drink I had - shirley temple was very nice.
We had a good four night stay at this comfortable and clean hotel. Interior design is stylish with luxurious choice of materials and fabrics in the rooms and the public areas. Breakfast was good and not too busy. We appreciated the free drinks in the fridge in our rooms, and the coffee and tea facilities were good. Lovely clean bathrooms and daily cleaning and towels was of a good standard. Comfortable beds and good sound proofing helped us sleep well. Staff were helpful and friendly with good spoken English. Particular compliments must go to Andreas on reception, who went above and beyond to help us at check out. We were able to leave our baggage securely before returning for a pre-booked taxi. Thank you Andreas!
Hotel is located far away from the city center but walking distance from the orange metro line (st. Agnes station). My room was relatively big with a nice bathroom, including walk in shower. Breakfast was extremely basic, the same for all 6 days but fresh. Very friendly staff.
A Relaxing Vacation in Rome, but Commute To and From the City Center Must be Calculated:
Hotel Mercure Corso Trieste provides an affordable and comforting escape in busy Rome, although it does require a bit of commute to reach the happening parts of the city. Embrace this opportunity – travel by bus or metro and familiarize yourself with the city, its rhythm, and charm.
The hotel room was comfortable and cozy, and the reception area and surroundings were soothing. The hotel is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, ensuring peaceful nights – although the property could use some refurbishing, namely the corridors.
While the hotel sits far from the city-center, its location offers access to both metro and bus transportation, with the metro station approximately a 7-minute walk away.
Staff were generally helpful, although a little more smile and personal touch to their service would've made all the difference.
Housekeeping could have been better - in fact, it was our greatest grievance during the stay. Surfaces were dusty and our bathroom wasn't properly cleaned. After checking in, we had to call reception to request the cleaning staff to remove urine stains on the toilet seat from a previous guest. However, the hotel did provide compensation with a complimentary drink at the bar, which we appreciated.
Regarding the pizza at the hotel, we tried two different types. Our verdict? They were average. Nothing out of the ordinary, but not awful either.
We recommend Hotel Mercure Corso Trieste for travelers interested in a serene stay in Rome, hoping that housekeeping issues will be addressed.
I’m having mixed feelings about our 6 night stay at this hotel. The hotel is located in a nice fairly quiet neighbourhood away from the city centre. You can reach the Metro and buses in under 10 minutes.
The lobby and restaurant at the entrance to the hotel are quite new and nicely furnished but when you get up to the corridors and rooms there are many areas that are quite dated. Our room only had three outlets and only on one side of the bed. There was also quite a bit of mould in the bathroom especially in the shower.
Another issue we have found was the cleaning. Yes there is daily cleaning but it’s not great. We even found a contact lens on the floor even though neither of us wears any.
The breakfast was fine for us but it would be a nightmare for any vegan. The service also seems inundated when it gets a little more busy.
I stayed in this hotel (4 stars) situated in Roma-Trieste quarter for 5 days, i.e. 4 nights as an alternative to my former hotel (3 stars) which has changed to the negative during the last 3 years. Altogether it can be said that it is not …
Simple but very good. Wonderful service located in residential area in Rome. It’s a bit far away from tourist attractions but it’s quiet and comfortable. I definitely recommend it. Accor has done a wonderful job with the Mercure brand. Again not luxury hotel but very modern and cosy
